I’ve been watching all of @iammiketodd relationship series videos on repeat and I can’t get over how good they are!! (Look them up on YouTube - you’ll scream they’re so good) . In part 3 of his series he said “when God is in the middle your relationships, your relationships will be centered around God.” But the problem most of us face is getting into relationships with God on the outside and then asking him to bless them (I’m guilty of this too). . One of the biggest takeaways I got from this message was that any relationship you enter into should bring glory to God. Not just dating relationships, but friendships, coworkers, etc. One of my new goals is to be more conscious of relationships I am in. Are they helping me? Are they bringing glory to God? If not, they probably aren’t worthy of my time. Remember, who you let into your heart will play a part in guiding you to your purpose so make sure those relationships are centered around God 🙏🏻
Those who leave everything in God’s hands will eventually see God’s hands in everything 💛
Have you ever stopped & thought “wow I prayed for this, it’s here. It’s happening.” Do you know how amazing God is though? He answers prayers before you even speak. . I can surely attest to that! I have transformed as a person this last year in ways that are truly unbelievable. From my values and standards to how I view myself and how I view others. I would even say I’m a different person than I was 6 months ago, even one month ago. The more I lean into Him, the more I grow and transform. Shoot, He has been answering prayers I didn’t even know I needed. He was planting seeds before I was even a Christian! It’s truly an experience that is hard to describe. . The more I seek God the more I hear His calling for me. The more I seek Him, the more I seek ME! When you do that you are able to fulfill who He has created you to be. I guess my point of this is to urge you to live a life worthy of His calling for you. In doing that you must seek Him and be patient and trust that what He has planned for you is far greater then what YOU have planned for you. Be open to what He has in store for your life. Even in the things that seem small and ordinary. 🙏🏻💛
Wedding days are not ALL glitz and glam. It’s a day that’s been planned for months up to year which can cause a ton of stress leading up to the day and even on the wedding day. Especially when Mother Nature decides that rain will be in the forecast for your outdoor wedding 🙈 . It’s my job as a photographer to remind my brides that your wedding day is a celebration of LOVE and I am here to capture that rain or shine! If it’s down pouring you better believe I’ll make it look good. . You know what I discovered though - God loves love and he always comes through! The sky cleared right before their first look & continued clear the rest of the day! Guess what, you wouldn’t even be able to tell it was rainy outside from this photo🤷🏼‍♀️😁 .
